Nyota — Swahili for 'star' — is Toshe Ujenzi Works Limited's youth apprenticeship program. We pair young Kenyans with senior engineers on live projects.

Program overview

Real projects. Real mentorship. Real certification.

Nyota is a 12-month structured apprenticeship combining classroom modules with on-site rotation across civil, MEP, and finishing trades. Apprentices earn a stipend, gain NCA-recognized certification, and graduate into our talent pipeline or partner firms.

Apply Online

Submit your application with basic education details and a short motivation statement.

Skills Interview

A practical aptitude session with our senior engineers and mentors.

Onboarding

Safety induction, kit issue and assignment to a live project mentor.

Certification

Graduate with NCA-recognized certification and a portfolio of completed work.
